I had a great time photographing Beth and Hunt’s engagement portrait. They were so comfortable in front of the camera. It almost seems like they could be in front of the camera for a living! They were great to work with and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding.

They did the first dance when the mood struck, the cake was cut when the time was right. Leah and Nat stayed away from the ritualistic wedding. As a result their wedding was theirs and it was a blast to attend and photograph. Leah looked amazing and you could tell Nat thought so. They are a happy couple and I know they will have a wonderful life together.

A great way to close out the summer wedding season; a Grand Lake wedding. Emily and Joey had a classic lake wedding. Good time, and the scenery was amazing!

The groom was nervous and so was the bride. Henry David Thoreau said, “Beware of all enterprises that require a new set of clothes.” While I watched Matt and Shelly’s ceremony and reception I realized Thoreau might have been wrong. They were great, a wonderful ceremony and couple!

 

Photographing a wedding at the Dresser Mansion is an amazing experience. The mansion is beautiful, and when you have a couple like Aaron and Deidre it just makes it that much better. They were great to work with, their wedding party and all the guests were so kind. It was a great wedding and I was lucky to be the photographer

Usually when you photograph someone in cold weather, you can see it on their face. Even if it appears to be sunny and nice, people just look cold when they are. I shot Matt and Shelly’s engagement photos last week. It looked like a nice day, but it was cold. They were troopers, and I told them to think warm thoughts. I don’t think you can tell at all that they were cold. Every time we stopped shooting to change locations, Shelly ran for her coat. Just proves they will be great to work with on their wedding day.

 

 

 

I recently shot Aaron and Deidre’s engagement photos. After working with them for about an hour I am so excited to shoot their wedding in May. They have an amazing sense of style and are so fun to work with. Their wedding will be beautiful!
